Welcome Parents and Guardians!
You are important to our students' success.
Picking Students Up After School
To ensure the safety of all students, there is no pick up of students on the north side of Jefferson (Lussier side). Students must be picked up on the south side of the building (Memorial side). This only applies to the end of the day dismissal. If you are picking up your student for an appointment during the day, please use our new office entrance on the north side. Thank you for helping us.
Dear Parents/Guardians please try not to schedule appointments during Map testing (October 1st - 9th) and be sure your student arrives to school on time and has had plenty of sleep. Map Testing Schedule: English, Spanish, Hmong, Mandinka
Dear MMSD Families:
In April, we asked families if they would agree to read the District Policy Guide online instead of receiving a printed copy. Over 5,000 families agreed to this option, saving us thousands of dollars in printing costs. Thank you.
Our students and families must be informed and understand the policies and procedures of the Madison Schools. Please read the District Policy Guide with your student. The District Policy Guide is your source for Madison Board of Education policies that impact students. This is not a comprehensive listing of policies, but those that must legally be provided to all students and their families. For a full listing of board policies go to board.mmsd.org and click on “Policies and Procedures”.
During the first few weeks of school, middle and high school students will review many of these policies again when schools discuss the MMSD Behavior Education Plan with students.
Your school also offers a handy reference for useful everyday information. These school supplements are available on the same webpage as the policy guide.
